Support Elizabeth Lopez's Treatment-Bandra

My mother, Elizabeth Lopez, was taken to Holy Family Hospital Bandra Emergency Ward on August 27, 2022, owing to serious rectum bleeding. She was immediately sent to ICU and remained there for 6 days. Various tests were carried out during this time. Her haemoglobin level plummeted. A colonoscopy on August 29th found a tumour in her big intestine, which needed to be removed as quickly as possible.

Due to her age, diabetes, high blood pressure, and other factors, the surgery was performed on September 12th at very high risk. After 3-4 days of surgery, she was in severe condition, and the doctors had given up hope. She had cardiac arrests, pneumonia, and a high creatinine level. The majority of her essential organs were damaged. We all feared the worst when she was on the ventilator for nearly ten days.

But my mum is a fighter and a devout Christian. She gradually escaped danger and was transferred to Pvt ward no 433. She has become quite weak and is unable to stand even with assistance. Furthermore, after being in the ICCU for 18 days, she has developed a bed sore that must be addressed quickly.

My mother was an athlete in school, winning numerous cups and medals, and seeing her now unable to put her feet on the ground is heart-breaking. She worked very hard to raise four children. Two of her boys and her spouse have died. Floyd, her bachelor son, quit his work ten years ago to care for my mother full-time.

We borrowed money from friends and family to pay the hospital bills, which we must repay later. We have no funds to pay the due bills as of yet as the bills have crossed 16 Lakhs.
