My 15-year-old Nephew, Melbon needs an urgent kidney transplant

My name is Juliet Taccod, and I live in Mangalore. Before I moved back to India, I worked for a few years in the Middle East. My 15-year-old nephew needs a kidney transplant as soon as possible, so I'm writing this letter to ask for your help. My sister Lily has lost everything she ever had. As a single mother, her only hope and goal is to save her son. Melbon is in the ninth grade at Mangalore's Adarsh High School and goes to Tatcode Parish.
Melbon started getting fevers, throwing up, and having loose stools when he was only 2 months old.  After a month, his kidneys started hurting very badly. We were told by the hospital that his kidneys have stopped working and he needs dialysis.
My nephew is getting care at the KMC Mangalore government hospital. Melbon can get a kidney transplant, but the doctors told us that it will cost about Rs. 8–10 lakhs and another Rs. 20,000–25,000 per month for the next six months after the surgery.
 
Melbon is everything to Lily, so I'm asking everyone with a heart to help our family raise the 10 Lakhs needed for this life-saving treatment. We've already raised half of these funds, but each month, the cost of dialysis, which is 30,000 Rs, wipes out everything we've gotten from everyone. The only way Melbon can get better is if he gets a new kidney. They need all the help they can get, and this surgery might be the only way to save his life. Please help me raise money for his transplant by telling your family and friends about my nephew's story. I'm hoping that someone somewhere will read it and be able to help us.
